About the ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV
The ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV is designed for central sleep apnea, this bilevel adjusts to your individual breathing patterns as they change during the night. It's algorithm, called adaptive servo-ventilation (ASV), detects when you stop breathing and provides a breath. It treats therapy users with central sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea, mixed sleep apneas or periodic breathing.
The ASVAuto algorithm continuously monitors each breath, tracking 13 points on every cycle 50 times per second. By analyzing the shape and timing of each breath, the device synchronizes therapy to your natural breathing, making treatment feel smooth and comfortable.

Indication: The ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV is indicated for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in patients weighing more than 66 lb (30 kg). It is suitable for both home and hospital use. *ASV therapy is contraindicated in patients with chronic, symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2-4) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤ 45%) and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnea.*
