Purchase, Shipping, Returns, Warranty Policies

PAP machine prescription requirement:

PAP machines in Canada require a valid prescription in order to be purchased.
Masks and replacement parts do not require a prescription and can be ordered at any time.

Prescriptions may be issued by a sleep clinic or family physician. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

Orders requiring a prescription will not be shipped until a valid prescription has been received and verified.

Product Purchases 

Products sold on CPAPOutlet.ca are intended for end users residing in Canada for personal use only. We do not sell to resellers, distributors, or other third-party businesses.

All product descriptions are provided to CPAP Outlet by the manufacturer of that product. While we do our best to clarify product details, CPAP Outlet is not responsible for inaccuracies or errors in product descriptions provided by manufacturers. We can assist in contacting the manufacturer if additional clarification is required.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, errors may occasionally occur. In the event of an incorrect price on a quote or order, customers will be notified by email or phone and given the option to accept the corrected price or cancel the order.

Customers are responsible for confirming product compatibility, sizing, and product selection prior to purchase.

CPAP Outlet reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order suspected of fraud, misuse, or violation of our policies.

Shipping Policy 

All orders are shipped through Canada Post. Orders ship Monday through Friday only (excluding holidays) as Canada Post does not operate on weekends.

Total delivery time includes:
    • Processing time: 1–5 business days
    • Shipping time: 1–10 business days depending on destination and shipping service selected

Orders may therefore take 2-15 business days from time of ordering to arrive.
Express options will only affect shipping time and do not reduce processing time.

At this time, we only ship to Canadian addresses and do not offer international shipping outside of Canada.

Shipping Promotions

For shipping promotions that require a minimum purchase amount:
    • The minimum purchase amount is calculated after discounts and before taxes
    • XpressPost and Priority shipping options may cost extra.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If a shipment appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact our team so we can assist. We will open an investigation with the shipping carrier (Canada Post) on your behalf.

Canada Post will review the shipment and provide the final outcome of the investigation. Once we receive their findings, we will contact the customer with the appropriate resolution. If the carrier confirms that the package has been lost in transit, we will arrange either a replacement shipment or a refund.

Delivered Packages

If Canada Post confirms that a package was successfully delivered to the address provided on the order, including delivery confirmation or delivery photo evidence, CPAP Outlet is not responsible for packages that are lost or missing after delivery.

If a customer believes the package may have been delivered to the wrong address or location, they should contact CPAP Outlet so we can review the delivery details and assist with opening an investigation with Canada Post when appropriate.

Incorrect Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

If an incorrect address is entered, customers should contact CPAP Outlet as soon as possible. If the order has not yet shipped, we may be able to update the shipping address.

Once an order has already been shipped, CPAP Outlet is not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect address provided at checkout. In these cases, CPAP Outlet will assist when possible, however address errors entered at checkout remain the responsibility of the customer.

Returns

CPAPOutlet.ca will only accept returns on unopened products within 30 days of the original delivery date.

Return conditions include:
    • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
    • A 10% return processing fee may be deducted from the original cost
    • A refund for the remaining balance will be issued
    • Original shipping costs are not refundable

Important Return Conditions

If the product has been opened, no refund will be issued.

Due to the nature of CPAP products as essential medical respiratory equipment, opened items cannot be returned or refunded.

If you would like the opened item returned to you, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.

To help avoid returns, we encourage customers to contact us with any questions regarding product specifications, sizing, or compatibility prior to purchase.

Final Sale Items

All machines and electronic devices including:
    • CPAP
    • APAP
    • BiPAP
    • Humidifiers
    • Cleaning devices
    • Batteries

are final sale once shipped from our facility, regardless of usage hours.

The following items are also final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
    • Special order items
    • Sleeping pillows
    • Cleaning supplies

Warranty

At CPAPOutlet.ca, we are committed to ensuring customers receive products that function as intended. If you experience a defect or malfunction, please contact us and we will assist with troubleshooting and initiating a warranty claim with the manufacturer if required.

All warranty periods begin on the date of delivery and apply only to the original consumer. Warranties are non-transferable.

Warranty Coverage

Masks & Accessories

(Including tubing, water chambers, cushions, headgear, and elbow pieces)
Standard warranty: 90 days
Exceptions
    • ResMed AirTouch N30i: 90-day manufacturer warranty on all parts including the memory foam cushion.
    • All other ResMed AirTouch masks (N20, F20):
          • Memory foam cushion: 7-day manufacturer warranty
          • All other components: 90-day manufacturer warranty

ResMed recommends replacing AirTouch cushions every 30 days.

CPAP / APAP / BiPAP Machines


    • ResMed & Philips Respironics: 3-year manufacturer warranty
    • Yuwell: 5-year manufacturer warranty
    • Breas Z2: 2-year manufacturer warranty
    • Transcend: 2-year manufacturer warranty

Batteries

Exp Pro Batteries: 2-year manufacturer warranty Medistrom Batteries: 12-month manufacturer warranty
      Warranty claims must be handled directly through Choice One Medical Zopec Batteries: Warranty varies by product. Please refer to the individual product description.

Cleaning Devices


    • Lumin Cleaning Machine: 2-year manufacturer warranty

Warranty Claims & Return Shipping

If a product is believed to be defective during the warranty period, the manufacturer will review the device to determine the appropriate resolution. At the manufacturer’s sole discretion, the product will either be repaired or replaced.

Refunds are not provided for warranty claims.

If a product is opened or used and later found to be defective, it will be handled exclusively through the manufacturer’s warranty process.

If return shipping is required for a warranty claim, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the device to the manufacturer or service center. Once the unit has been repaired or replaced under warranty, CPAP Outlet will cover the cost of shipping the device back to the customer.

Warranty Limitations

This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
    • Improper use
    • Abuse
    • Modification
    • Alteration of the product

All warranty determinations, including repair or replacement approval, are made solely by the manufacturer.

By completing a purchase on CPAPOutlet.ca, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all purchase, shipping, return, and warranty policies listed on this website.
